Letter to the fam

Dear Brew Family:

We want to share with you some sort-of-secret, behind-the-scenes and important Brew stuff. Since August, we have been recording a new album. It’s been a huge undertaking – many, many hours of tracking, listening and mix-downs. Now it’s totally coming together and we wanted you to hear about it first.

For all of us, it’s been a kind of lean time – the album project has bumped a lot of shows we would have played if we hadn’t been buried for weeks on end in the studio. This commitment has impacted our income, but even more it’s left us starved for the energy that gets passed around at our shows, because

that what’s always inspired us. It’s really always been about the music, and the energy that circulates between us and you, through that music.

So when will the our new album come out? The timing depends on what happens in the next couple of months in New York and Hollywood. We are heading for LA for a second trip in as many months, and there are quite a few meet ups set up with legit record labels, managers and legal eagles, some of whom have been watching The Brew for years. The signals we’re getting from these people, some of whom

are truly friends at this point, is that the band is now poised to step up. We’ll see. We are excited, definitely excited about the new record, and cautiously hopeful about where it might take us.

Whatever happens – and we’ll keep you posted –in March we are planning a nice long run of shows. We can’t wait to get back into gig mode. We have tons of pent up energy, new tunes and thousands of reasons, namely all of you, to get back out there.

So good luck to everyone, all of us and all of you, ‘cause we’re all going on this ride, and here’s to keepin’ it going, whatever happens.

We love you,

Chris, Dave, Joe & Kelly
